Hosoya's

There are not many burger places in Sendai outside of fast food. I've only found two - Hosoya's and Teddy's.

Teddy's wins because of size. Size does matter.

Kokubuncho at Night

This is the place to go for nightlife in Sendai. As small as one strip seems to be, there are a lot of cities around Tohoku that have much less.

Marker

This marker shows where the road used to end/begin back in the Edo period. Sendai has these kinds of things all over marking its history.

This stairway looked much more daunting when I was there.

Wires

This was in Kokubuncho. When I saw this I wondered how Japan could be so advanced, yet, so dirty. It brought me back to when my parents came.

The Gulp Down Cafe

I thought this was a good name.

Kokubun-cho 国分町

Here are some pictures I took when I went out to eat in Kokubun-Cho last week. This is the major entertainment area in Sendai with most of the bars, restaurants, and other forms of entertainment.
