Wires

This was in Kokubuncho. When I saw this I wondered how Japan could be so advanced, yet, so dirty. It brought me back to when my parents came.

  1. It is amazing to see all the power lines. I am also amazed with how advanced Japan is yet there are so many ugly concrete type building that make you think that you are in Stalin's Soviet Union.

  2. Excellent photo/subject. I am still looking for my own perfect Japan power line photo.

The wild thing about it is that they do have a sense of simple beauty, perhaps better than any other people in the world. But they are still willing to put up with a complex mess of power lines. Even right next to beauty that has taken hundreds of years to make.

Every day I fail to understand Japanese, but I wonder if its somehow related to the zen, allow what is philosophy.
