Kotodai Koen Station

I really like the outside of this station and they have recently added a little something to the inside as well. At first glance it looks like the ceiling has holes in it [from my picture].

Tanabata Kickoff

The beginning of Tanabata brings out the street vendors and Christmas lights.

Subway Enterance

This is one of my favorite subway entrances in Japan. Everyone likes it so much they can't stop looking.

Interesting Architecture

I get down on the architecture in Sendai a lot. It gets pretty redundant around downtown. But I give props to whoever designed this building near Kotodai.

Fountain

This fountain is in front of Kotodai Park. This place is commonly used for festivals.

Rainy Days

It's been beautiful lately--these pics were taken a few weeks ago. This is Kotodai Koen (park). There is a lot of activity here during the jazz festival when it is filled with stages and bands playing.
