I've never been to Paris. But when I was walking down Ichibancho the other day, French music was being pumped through the speakers (they tend to play music publicly in Japan) and I saw the pigeons on the wet street and thought of Paris. I guess this is what I think of when I imagine it there.

Yes, pigeons 're everywhere and streets 're wet these days... but not all the time.

It is amazing to see such sights in sendai now as it was totally different in the early 1950s.
ReplyDeleteWas it raining? I wasn't able to visit so many streets in Paris but it does have the feel of Paris...
