Here are some pictures of Ichibancho. This is the main street in Sendai and it is one street over from Kokubancho. Mitsukoshi department store, the Disney store, Yamaha, and many other major stores and restaurants are on this street. The top two were taken around December, and the bottom one was taken a few weeks ago.
Note: The blue lights are still up. I'm not sure if they are lazy, or if they keep them up all year long.
That is the street. When we were there it was a dirt street and the buildings were one story or one and a half. There was one larger department store there with rides for children on the roof.
ReplyDeleteI will probably not comment in the future as it takes too many tries and wastes too much time trying to get the word verification right. It is not just your site, lots of people use it but blogger has changed the alphabets and it is a mess.
