Composition

I was sitting behind this person at the Sendai World Festa. I like these kinds of shots, although I think this one could have been better if I had moved over one seat to the left.

Sendai Castle: Otemon Gate

This is the Otemon Gate of Sendai Castle. It was much grander before WW2 - the bombing runs burned it to the ground. Here you can see that the Great East Japan Earthquake also did its part to try to knock it completely down. That wall that is under the tarp is part of the original.

Morning Spider

I liked the way the light hit the spider.

And just now, I saw there there is a spider web in the spider web.

Typhoon Damage?

... either that or a herd of buffalo came through and slept here.
