The Walk Home

My walk home is pretty nice. I don't usually enjoy it in the morning for one reason or another.

How Many Construction Workers ...

I took this because I count 9 construction guys in this picture. (The person in the blue shirt and brown jacket is not one of them.) I'm not sure that the two guys to the left are a part of the crew, but that would still be 7 guys working on a hole that was about 10 x 10.

Cherry Blossom Stop

I really enjoyed seeing the cherry blossoms next to the train station by my apartment.

Admiring the View

At first I was really annoyed when this guy wandered into my shot. Now I think he adds a whole lot to it.

Concrete Tracks

That wall is where the train tracks are elevated. At this angle the tracks don't look half as bad as they do a little to the left.

Lighthouse Effect

This is another shot that doesn't look as dramatic in the shot as it did in real life.

Omamori

Someone had attached this omamori (good luck charm) to a tree near Kita Sendai Station. It made for a nice picture.

A Look Down the Alley

This girl was chasing a pigeon (hato) around until it escaped down the alley.

Budokan

The Aoba-ku Budokan. There are martial arts classes here, a gym, and the Sendai 89ers play some games in the gym as well.

Around the Bend

I take this shot a lot since it's right outside my house. But there is something appealing to the way the tracks curve out of site. I won't miss it when I move though.

Snow on a Tree

Last week it snowed. I love it when it snows.

A Bus to Nowhere

I thought it was interesting how the sign on the bus wouldn't show up. It's like taking a picture of the T.V. (At least my T.V. which is the "old" kind.)

After posting this picture I realized that I need to get out more. I've been hibernating for too long.

Clutter in Sendai

Looking down the tracks, I realized how cluttered everything here is. Maybe I just need to get away. 2 more weeks.

Creepy House

This house is really creepy. I can't really see the other side with the train tracks slightly elevated, but it has a bad vibe to it. With property not retaining value in Japan, I am not sure I'd do anything about it either.
