The snow was really coming down this day and a guy let me share his umbrella.

I'm not a fan of how all the rivers and streams are molded in Japan, but this one looked pretty good after a snowfall.

I Need a Tripod

I used the 2 sec exposure for this one, but it came out a little blurry. It was probably because I was shivering. Here's a shot from the other side.

Frosty Morning

I think I'll do a tilt shift version of this picture. I saw a few on Flickr that were really cool.

Circuit

I've heard two theories about the power lines:
1) the soil is too acidic to bury them
2) earthquakes would rip them apart

Isn't there another way?

After the Snow

Intersection

I liked the way the clouds looked here and I hoped to get some sort of reflection off that new building.

Inspiration

This tobacco shop was the inspiration for changing my settings to black and white. The promotional items haven't been updated in ages, it's a rare tobacco shop, and there is a pay phone.

Around the Bend

The night before I took this picture there was lightning in those clouds. They're off over the Pacific.

I wish I had gotten a chance to take a picture while the leaves had changed color.
