This fruit stand has terrific bargans on Saturdays. Also, the Asa Ichi, or open air market near the station, both sell highly discounted fruit, vegetables, fish and meats on Saturday. They are all closed on Sunday, they try to get rid of the extra food that would spoil over the weekend.
