Sendai started a marche [city open market]. Vendors sell their fresh fruit and vegetables down Ichibancho on the weekends. This is someone testing the watermelon.

    Nice shot. Ichibancho used to be a busy street but I don't remember food vendors there. I assume they were but I don't recall.

    This was a special day. They started selling fresh produce on the weekends.
