Through the Trees

I just learned how to make lights and the sun do a star burst with the camera alone so naturally I had to run out and try it. I wish I had not cut off the rays on the left.

    wow -- cool! how does one go about making lights do the starburst thing with only a camera?

    You first need contrast between the light source and the sky. The surrounding areas need to be a lot darker than the light.

    Next set a really small aperture (or is that a large aperture, I can never get those right). I used F16 here.
