It is close to Aoba Dori in between Ichibancho and Higashi Nibancho. ... Maybe I should geo-tag these so people can see the locations on a map.
Do you know if the lanterns are just for decoration or do they have some meaning?
I think they're just for decoration. They also show who's donated to the shrine so I guess they have meaning as well.
I'd like to see these all lit up. Maybe I'll come back in the spring/summer.
