When Grandma would go to Florida, she would be bent over all the time picking up shells. They had a name for it on Sanibel Is. Called the Sanibel Stoop. And I can see her in that photo tending to her flower garden.. SHe made amazing bouquets from her garden and incorporated weeds, twigs, branches for a very artistic arrangement. HEr style is what they do now.
This woman reminded me of my grandma.
That's how the Oba-chans get the curved hunched back, bending over in the gardens and fields.
