Intersection


I took this because of the reflection on the water, but I think it's a good example of how the banks of rivers are destroyed reinforced.

  1. When I was there in 1953, the people were gathering stones out of the Hirose River. Those stones were sorted and used to reinforce the river banks.

  2. It's too bad what they did to most of the rivers in Japan. It happens here in the States also. The LA River is just one long concrete lined river to the sea. It looks hideous.
