Clouds

Another shot from after the storm. I chose to take a part of the larger image, but I'm not sure if this clip is better than the actual picture or not ... maybe I'll post the other one.

  1. Lots of photos of Sendai which has changed so much from the days when we were there in 1953-1956.

  2. Quite charming and dreamy. We just had a small tornado touch down in part of our area, although fortunately not near the city center where I work.

Can I ask you for some Sendai advice? As I mentioned recently, my wife and I will pass through your area in October. We need to decide between staying at Ryokan Tenryu-kaku and the Metropolitan Hotel by the train station. I understand the former is out a ways, near Zuihoden mausoleum, that it is attractive and has it's own small onsen. Some friends who stayed there in the past found it hard to get around from that location. The Metropolitan appears to be modern, central and maybe a little bland. We would be grateful for any other info you can give us. Jump over to my blog, click my profile and there's an e-mail link. Thanks.
