Rat in the Road



On the first day I came to Tokyo I was walking to my hotel in Ueno, and on the sidewalk I saw a dead rat. After a night of karaoke, on the subway platform I saw another dead one.

All these years and half the island away, I was walking through my neighborhood and I saw this on my way to work.
