This shot could have been great.

I was walking by Itagaki on Ichibancho when I looked over and saw this scene.

Too bad that the autofocus was not fast enough for me to simply raise my camera and shoot.

In the Prominade

This statue is in Kotodai Koen in downtown Sendai. Tanikaze here was an Ozeki from Miyagi in the 1700's.

Near Kencho

Kencho is the prefecture office building in downtown Sendai. (I suppose it more accurately refers to any prefecture building in any prefecture capital.)

I can't wait for spring to come.
