Standing in Front of the Fire
During the dontosai festival, people burn the previous year's and New Year's decorations, charms, and other items as a way to pray for good fortune in the coming year.

Overexposed
Every time I get downtown I always try to go to Jozenji and get a shot of the statues. This day was hard because of the lousy lighting.
