For Tanabata this year, the boardwalk on Jozenji Street was decorated and they made a tunnel of lights. Unfortunately, the statue of this boy did not fit.

After it started raining, the weather became the main subject of Tanabata.

Most people scrambled to protect the tanabata decorations when it started raining.

On the first day of the Sendai Tanabata Festival the rain came down in clumps. These two went to a restaurant to escape from the weather.

I do not see this kind of butterfly often. I liked the contrast of the blue on green.
