Get the Tripod

Yeah, good macro work needs a tripod. I was hoping to get some sort of reflection to come through those water drops. I guess proper exposure would have helped.

Lens Test

I bought a Tamron 90mm macro lens in the beginning of June, but I returned it since it would lose contact with my camera and would then become unusable since it did not have an aperture ring. I then bought a Tokina 100 which seems to do the job well.

(The Tamron was nice is not for that problem.)

Scaffolding

The house across the street is having a new roof put on - blocking my view of Mt Izumi.

Tears on an Hydrangea

The Japanese word for hydrangea is ajisai. They are all over my neighborhood.

The clouds continued to break so I could finally see the edge of Okama.
