A Rose By Any Other Name

In my neighborhood there are two houses with amazing gardens. They both have rose bushes that grow up like walls and give me something to look at when on my way to work.

After writing the title for this post, I remembered someone nick-named Daisy. Memories.

The Spider in the Window

I have never seen one of these before, and I have not seen one since this day. (I don't touch it, it just went away.)

This was actually taken on the day of, or around,  the eclipse.

Busy

The problem with this picture, I think, is that it is too distracting. Still, I like these flowers and I like how they grow all over the place. This is on the side of the sidewalk.

Anniversary Dessert

This is from a desert tray from a few weeks ago. I wish I had been able to move to a different angle. The triangle on the right is cheesecake.

High Key

Sometimes you have to blowout the background to get the foreground right. Sometimes when you do that it looks kind of cool.

I really like taking pictures of flowers from the ground. But, it is hard to get the backgrounds right.
