Mt Daito in Spring Thaw

I got this shot of Mt Daito (on the right) on a clear and beautiful Saturday morning. I wish I had straightened it out though. Those also look like some interesting clouds above it that I could have captured with a longer lens.

Daikanon #47 - Eclipse Watching

Here the Daikanon watches the eclipse on May 21. You can see the reflection of the eclipse just below the sun.

The Last Sakura

I am not sure what kind of sakura these are (or if they are even sakura), but they bloom after most of the other sakura bloom.

Off to School

These boys are heading off to school. They pass me every day.

20,000 Years Ago

This is bascially the entire museum at Chitei no Mori Museum in Tomizawa （地底の森 this means the Forest of the Floor of the Earth). When building, they found this petrified forest along with deer droppings, a campfire, and some pottery.

I liked it.

The Ginko

Ginko trees are all around Sendai. I think there are more here than in Tokyo, even though Tokyo's symbol is the ginko leaf.
