Street Marketing

I have to remember to point my camera a little more downwards. This is a guy whose job it is to get people on the street to come into the restaurant he works for.

That light looks like a lightsaber.

Another View

I posted a different view of this before that was cropped. This is a different shot of the same scene (Can the same scene be photographed twice as you cannot step into the same river twice?) at a different time. It shows the character of the night.

I am quite fond of that middle light.

Necklace

At Night In The Rain

I took this as I got off the bus at night. It was raining as you can see, and I wanted to get another shot of this guy since I like umbrella shots, but he disappeared around the corner.

Dark Skies

A Look Down Kokubuncho

Actually, now that I think about it, this might not actually be Kokubuncho (I think of it as an area a la Kabukicho in Tokyo) but there is some action here too.

Daikanon #49 - Senryu

A senryu is a kind of Japanese poem that is supposed to be a humorous piece about human faults. I tried one, but it didn't turn out to be what I think a senryu is at all, but it is a nice poem.

夜の美花、
皆を引き込む、
虹のよう。

よのびはな、
みなをひきこむ、
にじのよう。

Beautiful flower of the night,
Draws everyone in,
Like a rainbow.
