I am pretty sure this sign says that the future emperor visited here. I should check that.

Futaguchi Falls Miyagi

This is up in the mountains between Miyagi and Yamagata probably near the source of the Natori River. To get here you take the road past Akiu Otaki straight west. The road turns into a dirt road after a while and this waterfall is off the dirt road before Futaguchi Campsite.

Fishing

Ishinomaki Broken Shrine

Not exactly Sendai, but it's close enough. The afternoon sun falls on a broken shrine.

I went up to the waste management center on a foggy/rainy day. I am not sure whether I like what Picasa did to this or not, but I kept it for something different.

Old School Crossing

An old school crossing sign. I don't think this is used anymore unless the tractors that drive along the dirt road stop for this.

Shrine on a Hill

Driving along somewhere between Zao and Sendai, I saw the signs of a small shrine so I pulled over. I walked through some rice fields and had to walk up the backside of a hill to get to it.
