Just a Glimpse

Sometimes, well most often, when I am on the street, I like to take random shots of people on the street with my camera away from my face. Mosto f the time I miss the focus, sometimes, I get it.

Two Older Men

Two older me pass each other as they walk down the alley.
One see me and is intrigued.
One has no idea I am there.

Kokubuncho Toraya Yokocho

This is my favorite alley in Sendai now that the old part of Ichibancho is long gone.

Another View

I posted a different view of this before that was cropped. This is a different shot of the same scene (Can the same scene be photographed twice as you cannot step into the same river twice?) at a different time. It shows the character of the night.

I am quite fond of that middle light.

A Look Down Kokubuncho

Actually, now that I think about it, this might not actually be Kokubuncho (I think of it as an area a la Kabukicho in Tokyo) but there is some action here too.

I wonder what this guy was doing walking down the back alley. If you look in the background you can see someone else taking a picture of me.

I came back here because I wanted to see what it was. It looks like you go to the basement where there are several bars.

Bicycles

I was walking through Kokubuncho looking for something interesting, and saw this scene. Right after this I heard a band start their warm up wiht Van Halen's "Panama" for the night's show. I found the bar they were in, but could not see inside. The guitarist was pretty good and I wish I could have watched them.

Roman Street

I have walked this street hundreds [many] of times, and this was the first time I saw this store (or at least the sign).
