Black and White Night

I have chosen to enter a 366-day photo challenge. This is one of the pictures I took for it, but decided not to enter it.

I took this after dark when I did not have a lot of light.

Vending Machine

I used to like how vending machines are everywhere in Japan. I remember making a few midnight runs to the one in a Kita Senju alley when I lived in Tokyo. As I am a little older and not so dependent on convenience, I think they are a little out of control. This one is one of the many on a high school campus.

Lighting

I liked the how the light was hitting this school crossing sign. Unfortunately, there is not a crosswalk around.

Silhouette

I wish that middle leaf had been a little more outstanding - a little more by itself.

Check the Settings

I tried to get the shape of a person in the background behind these leaves. A good tip for anyone with a camera is to check the settings before you go out.

In the Middle

I wonder why I shot this with the branch in the middle of the shot.

Change of Pace

I just wanted to see what a leaf shot would look like in black and white. I should have tried one that had brown leaves.

Smear

I don't know why the leaves look like that - there was not a wind.

I felt like this cloud was telling me to go home. It could have been my own wants though.

Men at Work

One thing I do not like about my camera is how much noise it puts out. But if I change those noisy pictures to black and white, they look like they were taken with a film camera. Still, I am in the market for a new camera.

Moving Slowly

This bee things was moving very slowly. It must not like the cold.

The Sky Was A Sea

As much as I like this, the view ten minutes prior during the meeting was even better. I wish I had a shorter lens on the camera and had my camera in the meeting. You can't always get what you want.
