On the west side of Sendai Station, in the ally behind the chain izakayas is a place called Ame Yoko アメ横. There is a more famous Ame Yoko in Ueno, Tokyo. The one in Sendai has a strip of fruit and seafood vendors.
Those look good to me. None of that used to be there. It was a pretty desolate place. It looks as modern as any US City now and the people dress like the rest of the world, and are almost always in the latest fashions and trends. Pick a Peck of Pixels

I'm sure it was a different world when you were here. I would liked to have visited that Sendai for a few days. But only a few days.
