Some Do, Some Do Not

Some people use umbrellas, some people do not. I did not have my umbrella on this day, but was lucky that it was not raining very hard.

Apartment

This is one of the tallest buildings in Sendai. Maybe it just seems tall since there is not a building even close to its height around, and it sits next to a park. I wonder what it was like in there during the earthquake.

Daikanon 45

I took this to capture the rows of lights in the statue's foreground. Unfortunately, I did not have a zoom lens, so I had to take what I was given.

Pood Land

I have no idea what that means. The other names in Japanese are different companies.

Colorful Door

I found this shop in downtown Sendai. There are not many shops like this around. It sells "crafty" items.

Shinkansen Tracks

I am always amazed at how the expressways and railways are build up on stilts in Japan.
