Some Do, Some Do Not

DSC_2231

Some people use umbrellas, some people do not. I did not have my umbrella on this day, but was lucky that it was not raining very hard.

Sendai Station in Black and White

DSC_7673

They have been doing construction around the station for the last four years. I forgive them because it takes a long time to make a subway station.

DSC_6594

I enjoy taking pictures of the taxis lined up in front of Sendai Station. Sometime I will get a shot I really like.

Mr. Taxi

DSC_6045

I am always thinking of better ways to capture the taxis at Sendai Station - this did not turn out the way I wanted so I will keep trying.

Crescent

I want to get better at shooting the moon. I think astral photography would be fun. Maybe I should get a telescope.

Taxis at 105mm

sendai-station-taxis

Whenever I go to Sendai Station, I always try to get a shot of the taxis, and one day, maybe I will find something really interesting. This one was taken with the Nikon Ai-s 105mm 2.5.

User Error

lomo-sendai-station-JR-logo

I was at [outside] Sendai Station and I looked down to see that there are JR logos on the tiles. I've never seen them there, or at any other station in Japan. I'll have to look more closely.

It was cold when I took this, and I must have been a little jumpy since the shot turned out blurry. I'll have to go back and try it again sometime because the cheap post processing doesn't cover up my mistake.

Sendai Station Date Helmet

sendai-station-date-helmet

With Date Masamune being the founder of Sendai, his likeness is everywhere. He is most famous for having the crescent moon on his helmet, and that's what you see here in from of Sendai Station.
