Jogi 2012 Fireworks

DSC_6545

One thing you should do when you take pictures is scout the location. I did a few weeks ago, but I didn't know where the fireworks would come from.

So when I got there (in the dark) I asked another guy with a camera where the fireworks would be and he said that direction. I wanted to get both the fireworks and the whole pagoda in the shot, but now I need to wait until next year to have another chance.

I guess I could have shot in portrait.

Silky Pink

DSC_2892

I had to make this a little brighter after I pulled the picture out of the camera, and as a result, the pedals are kind of noisy.

Gardening

DSC_5105

Unlike the other people around here, this lady did not pay any attention to me. I was going to ask her if I could take a picture of her, but I let her be.

Foreground

Continuing my own challenge to achieve foreground blur. I think I adjusted the tint a little too red.

Out in the Boonies

DSC_5103

This is how they do it out in the boonies. There was just enough room to pass through those cars.

From the Train

If you look in the lower left, you can see the tall apartment that doesn't look so tall in this picture.
