Ask most people in Japan if they would like to go to Baskin Robbins and you'll get a blank stare. Say 31 and people get happy.

    I didn't know there was Baskin Robbins there either. I've never seen any in Tochigi.

    Well, Sendai is the biggest city north of Omiya and south of Sapporo.

    There are a few 31s around.
