Construction is underway on the East-West Subway line（東西線）that will run under Aoba Street (on the west side of Sendai Station at least). Where ever there is construction, there are guards whose job I don't fully understand.

ReplyDeletei guess they make sure people are safe so that the construction companies don't get sued for accidents to people who walk by?
Maybe they direct trucks and things where to back up safely
